When my symptoms didn’t get better, I realized conventional medicine couldn’t help me. I didn’t know what to do—I just knew what I was doing wasn’t working. In 2011, when I first learned about functional medicine, it gave me hope for the first time. Unfortunately, traditional functional medicine just swapped my prescriptions for supplements and my low-fat, low-calorie diet for an elimination diet. I still didn’t get better.

Like you, I’m a problem solver. I knew in my gut there was more to my symptoms, so I quit my career in politics and spent the last 10 years studying nutrition, nervous system work, and a true root-cause approach to healing. I invested over a decade and $100,000 in my education so you don’t have to.
